Roxann Romano

Philanthropy & Community Involvement

Roxann Romano has more than three decades of expertise in the financial industry. She currently holds the positions of Executive Director, Senior Portfolio Management Director, and Wealth Director at the Romano-Catalano Group at Morgan Stanley, one of the country’s leading asset management firms. Some of the company’s services include personal finance, pension counseling, asset management for individuals and small enterprises, and educational seminars. Roxann directs a group of experts who develop and implement customized investment portfolios and financial plans for a diverse clientele.

Her Family Wealth Director (FWD) certification gives Roxann access to an advanced toolset for her more advantaged clientele interested in estate planning, charity management, and wealth education. However, even though her FWD certification equips her with the skills to serve as an expert adviser for the wealthy, Roxann is equally devoted to providing personalized financial solutions to those with limited means.

Roxann earned her bachelor’s degree from Wagner College in New York. Following graduation, she completed the Executive MBA program at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, earning the designation Chartered Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®). Roxann Romano is a Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor, and a Chartered Retirement Plans SpecialistSM. She is qualified to serve as a Security Agenda Investment Adviser Representative and is permitted to provide client advice in New York due to her holding Series 63 and Series 65 licenses. She is a licensed securities agent in TN, ME, MA, LA, VA, GA, FL, CT, CO, CA, AZ, DE, MI, NC, ND, NJ, NM, NV, NY, PA, and SC.

Philanthropy is a significant part of Roxann’s life. She is involved with numerous causes close to her heart, one of which is Angels on the Bay. This non-profit organization is dedicated to making a difference in the quality of life of children challenged by developmental disadvantages, physical limitations, and life-threatening diseases. Although the group was initially founded to assist local children’s programs and health care services, it has since grown to raise thousands of dollars for medical institutions such as St. Mary’s Hospital for Children, the Riverfund, Good Samaritan Hospital, Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, HeartShare Human Services of New York, and Flushing Hospital Medical Center, to mention a few. Another exciting expansion that is sponsored wholly by volunteer contributions is the Angels on the Bay Fitness Center. It is a rehabilitation facility for seriously injured children and those with requirements that cannot be satisfied elsewhere.
